Peterborough F.C. Scholarship Award

Peterborough F.C. was originally founded in the late 1960s by a small group of soccer enthusiasts as Reg Connelly Oldtimers. Over the years, the elite oldtimers competitive soccer club has travelled across North America, playing in Mexico, the US, and Ontario. Presently, the club concentrates its play in the Durham region, sponsoring up to three teams in different age divisions in a competitive league on Sundays.

The scholarships were created to honour our teammates who were outstanding players with our club. Will Andreoli and Rick McKinlay played with Peterborough F.C. for many years and  were outstanding ambassadors and builders of the sport of soccer and the  Club in Peterborough. Unfortunately, both passed away while still active players.

William Andreoli – February 25, 1963 – April 15, 2010 (48th Year)

 Richard McKinlay – January 29th, 1946 – October 16th, 2010 (65th Year)
